Ruth celebrates over 55 years in the industry! She currently acts as President and COO of the company. She oversees the day to day operations and manages the CAM's at the corporate office. Prior to helping with the conception of Landex in 1981, Ruth served as Secretary to owner, Harry C. Powell Jr., at Lehigh Corporation. There she worked for 20 years and helped to create most the communities that Landex Manages today. Ruth was also instrumental in the development of Lehigh Acres, it's clubs, churches, and organizations.
COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT
Ruth is a well known community leader. She has served on School District committees, Hope Hospice Capital Campaign committee, Community Council, Economic Development Board, Lehigh Foundation (responsible for gaining grants and HUD housing), and has been awarded the Heart of Lehigh from the local Chamber of Commerce, and Hometown Hero award from Kiwanis Club International. She is also a member of New Life Assembly of God church. Ruth gives back professionally and personally to the community as well as other local and national charitable organizations.
